As we Approach Baffin Island we start to see the terrain we are about to cross.

Having left Pangnirtung we head out across the sea ice towards the start of the pass.

The ice is sculpted in a thousand different shapes and colours.

Walking on air in the Weasel River.

A dust storm in the Arctic? This truly is Windy Gap!

Temperature drops to -30c for a cold night.

A cup of tea starts the day.

Today is -43c with wind chill. A tough but exciting morning!

Mount Asgard dominates this part of the journey.

Regular breaks for hot drinks and food are essential to maintain energy levels.

Having arrived in Qikiqtarjuaq (Broughton Island) we take some time to explore the icebergs.
