Outreach Youth Worker RequiredIf you are energetic, motivated and clearly passionate about the work of the Mitchemp Trust, then this could be the job for you? We are looking for an Outreach Youth Worker to liaise with schools and social services to ensure young people are selected effectively and have all the information they need prior to attending the Mitchemp Trust programme. Then by establishing and developing links with other youth organisations you will ensure that young people are given a clear pathway of opportunity for their future development. Volunteers RequiredWe are looking for volunteers to help run the camps in the Brecon Beacons, Peak District and Scotland in July and August each year. Volunteers act as Group Leaders or Assistant Group Leaders, and are responsible for the welfare and organisation of a group of young people. All activities are run by qualified instructors. Volunteers will preferably have previous experience of working with young people and an interest in outdoor pursuits. Training is provided and expenses will be covered by the charity. Volunteers will need to undergo an enhanced CRB check. Young people aged 16 and over will be considered for the Assistant Group Leader role.
